Have you ever walked away from a conversation thinking…
“Why did I say that??”

“I should’ve brought up this issue long ago…”

“Sigh, I just wish they could see my point of view…”

Or maybe you’ve been avoiding that much needed conversation with someone.
You know it has to happen but you’re afraid of ruffling feathers or “making it a big deal”.

You desire that candid conversation and crave honesty, but your truth gets stuck somewhere between your heart and your mouth. You’ve been told to “use your voice,” but no one ever taught you how.

You find yourself holding back, avoiding confrontation, over-explaining, or simply giving in to keep the peace.

Other times, when you speak up, it still doesn't land the way you hoped. It will then lead to misunderstanding, resentment, and eventually disconnection.

You then start to wonder — is it me?
Why does speaking my truth and drawing boundaries feel so hard?
Why do I either go completely silent or say things I don’t mean?
Why does being honest sometimes feel like I’m being hurtful?

Here’s the thing – we’ve been conditioned since young to stay silent and agreeable.

To keep the peace and avoid being “too much” or “too sensitive”.

To wait for the “perfect time” or worse, to be led to believe that your needs aren’t valid unless they’re approved by someone else.

Difficult conversations are a muscle. And most of us were never taught how to build it. We are too distracted learning how to be productive, to hit KPIs and simply to achieve.

We were never taught how to hold space for discomfort. How to speak from the heart while staying grounded and respecting the inevitable structures we’re living in.
You’re invited to:
Let’s talk: Difficult Conversations
We’re creating for you a safe space and facilitated discussions to help you recognise how you respond to difficult conversations.

You’ll be on the path towards reclaiming your inner voice, coming home to yourself, learning how to navigate conversations that matter, personally and professionally.
We’ll be unpacking real-world examples (through sharing) from:

Romantic relationships – when expectations aren’t communicated clearly
Family dynamics – navigating cultural guilt, approval-seeking, and old wounds
Workplace tensions – asking for what you need, setting boundaries, dealing with misaligned leadership

You’ll have the space to reflect on your own experiences, as well as share in small group breakout rooms to discuss, integrate, and gain insight from others.
These conversations will be facilitated by your hosts, Brian and Rae, who have been through their fair share of difficult conversations and aim to create a space to strengthen your inner voice and confront these difficult, yet necessary conversations.

Your Hosts:
 Brian
Brian is a Fitness Trainer, Positive Psychology Coach, and Mental wellness advocate whose work bridges the head, heart, and body. With a background in coaching various methodologies in fitness like Rhythm Cycling, Pilates Reformer and also Personal Strength training, he also has a deeply personal story of overcoming Anxiety, Anxious Attachments, Isolation and Gambling addiction and is rebuilding from the inside out.

He empowers individuals to reconnect with their truth, strengthen their inner voice through personal dialogue and Coming home to themselves.

Rae's note Brian blew me away with is vulnerability and self-connectedness when he shared his story at my Milestones Party in April.

He has been suffering from years of gambling addiction, manifesting into his slowly deteriorating relationship with himself and his loved ones.

The final wake up call came when the girl he thought he was going to marry ended things with him. He realised he needed to short his sh*t out.

Many peeps from the Milestones Party was blown away by his short 10 min sharing, and I'm so excited to be collaborating with him for this one :)
 Rae
Rae started emceeing and freelancing since she was 15 years old. A passionate soul and multi-hyphenate, she found herself confronted with many difficult conversations -- with her peers, her (initially disapproving) parents, and most importantly herself.

Over the years, she ultimately overcame insecurity, low-self worth, and the tendency to bypass her inner voice in favour of advice from people "better than her".

Today, she's a coach who guides rising leaders to Own their Voice -- reclaiming their unique voice so they can speak with power and navigate conversations with compassion and authority.
