Hi, I'm Rae, your sunshine energetic gal with an old soul (people tell me I'm like a grandma with a lil girl's energy) 

Despite being 153cm (5 ft), I've been told that I command the stage with audiences of over a thousand people with distinct presence. I started my business straight out of university and got my first two clients even before I had any product at all. I worked with over 10 clients in my first two months of launching my coaching program. I spoke for big brands and fulfilled my dream of creating and hosting my very own live in-person talkshow. 

I know how to rally a crowd, communicate my message, and tell a captivating story.

But I wasn't born a natural speaker and confident content creator. I was the girl hiding at the back of class, letting the smarter and more confident ones take the lead. I didn't see the value in my voice. And when I did speak up, I was told "you're too young" and needed more experience. 

Throughout my years in entrepreneurship, I've been advised by mentors (who are often old white men) to grow my business this way and scale my business that way. 

I spent years trying to follow the cookie cutter 'rules' to living my life, listening to conventional content creation advice to 'hook' and sell people, forcing myself to batch content like I'm a machine... Only to realise that I absolutely detest generic soul-less content creation advice and "sell/grow-at-all-cost" advice. 

Speaking, storytelling, writing and content creation are all expressions of our soul. As we heal and grow, we become expansive vessels for inspiration to flow through us and into our work and words.

In a world that prioritises efficiency and ROI, we tend to lose sight of the humanity of it all. We stress about the results and numbers so much so that we forget the whole point of work: to witness the expression of our gifts and talents in service of others. 

It took me multiple mistakes and lots of tears listening to others instead of my own voice, before I learnt how to crawl out of jadedness and started finding back the joy of using my voice. 

You can learn how to speak just as well, and create content you're proud of. My own process of becoming a self-assured and confident speaker and creator took over 10 years of figuring out, and I've distilled the all of it to create this one week challenge as a kickstart for you.
